Community Manager

The ideal candidate is deeply connected to the gaming community and possesses outstanding communication skills, strategic thinking, and system building abilities. They are also enthusiastic about creating a positive and engaging environment for our players, resulting in an improvement of Colonist's key metrics

- Ability to come up with goals and KPIs
- Ability to connect with diverse audiences
- Passion for gaming, driven by strong judgment and intuition about games and their communities
- Excellent at reading & writing docs in English
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
- Ability to delegate and expand workload to community
- Ability to communicate with product teams pushing them towards the right direction
- Experience in community management or related roles
- Experience with social media platforms and blogging
- Understanding of human psychology
- Be scrappy, driven & hands-on - you get things done despite limited resources or circumstances going against you
- Be a logical and independent problem solver - able to find innovative solutions
- Loves trying out new tools & tech
Responsibilities:
- Build teams of admins, mods & helpers
- Identify what the community needs and deliver it
- Impact the development roadmap, making the community happy as well as hitting Colonist KPIs
- Build systems, rules, bots to increase community health & engagement
- Build systems & rules for supporting content creators
- Come up with strategies for all social media platforms
- Come up with strategies for app stores & other platforms
- Handle support addressing concerns to ensure a positive experience
- Improve product ideas
- Plan and execute community events
- Create a blog strategy and publish blogs
- Execute all of the above amazingly and then expand the scope to cover more parts
