Product/Game Designer

- Be a Level 5 or above (refer to Product Design Ladder)
- Be a logical and independent problem solver - able to find innovative solutions in a short period of time
- Be an adaptable, proactive and highly responsive team player
- Be a gamer with strong judgment and an eye for design
- Be relentless, driven & hands-on - you get things done despite limited resources or circumstances going against you
Responsibilities:
- Propose design solutions, improvements & ideas
- Understand what users need and enhance their experience
- Design solutions that are applicable for multiple platforms & devices
- Communicate design decisions based on principles (Gestalt, heuristics, accessibility, etc.) and data
- Create UI/UX prototypes, layouts, skins, themes etc. in line with Colonist branding
- Test hypothesis with user interviews, A/B tests, data analysis, polls..
- Understand Colonist goals & prioritize scope of work
- Stay up-to-date with competitor analysis and trends in the gaming industry
